- Season 4 (in development): If Season 4 is in development, we might see a similar release pattern, with a new season likely to be released every few months.
Possible Exceptions
While it’s unlikely that Season 4 will be released on Peacock before 2023, there are some possible exceptions that could make a release date more realistic. Here are a few:
- Stream On-demand Releases: With the rise of on-demand streaming services like Netflix and Hulu, it’s possible that the content might be released on Peacock ahead of Netflix, and then exclusively on Peacock.
- Short-term Releases: Stranger Things might be released on Peacock short-term, for a limited time, and then become exclusive to the platform.
Conclusion
While we can’t predict with certainty when the chosen season 4 of Stranger Things will be released on Peacock, we can make some educated guesses based on the release patterns of other popular TV shows on Peacock. The likelihood of a new season being released in 2023 is low, but it’s not impossible.
The Strangest Schedule Change Ever?

Others believe that the streaming service might be trying to create a loyal fanbase on their platform.
