Written and produced by Giorgio Moroder and Donna Summer, the song was released in 1984 as the second single from Summer’s seventh studio album, "Adore". Axel F was a commercial success, peaking at number 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and staying there for three weeks. The song’s title, Axel F, is a reference to a character in a popular 1970s Italian TV series, Katze mit Aussehen wie eine Katze.
Why is Axel F not on Netflix?
