Is Unbroken Available on Netflix?
Unbroken is a powerful and inspiring true story that has captured the hearts of millions worldwide. Based on the bestselling novel by Laura Hillenbrand, the film tells the remarkable tale of Louis Zamperini, an American Olympic athlete who survived one of the most gruesome and prolonged periods of his life. But is Unbroken available on Netflix? Let’s dive into the answer.
What is Unbroken about?
Unbroken is a biographical war drama film directed by Angelina Jolie. The movie follows the life of Louis Zamperini, a young athlete who grew up in California and dreamed of becoming a Olympic gold medalist. Tragedy strikes when Zamperini is in the midst of his college career, and his world is turned upside down.
As the Olympic track and field team embarks on a journey to the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, disaster strikes when their plane crashes in the Pacific Ocean. The survivors are left stranded on a life raft with minimal supplies, and they must band together to survive against the elements, cannibals, and their own personal demons.
The True Story
Unbroken is based on Zamperini’s own story, as well as those of his colleagues and friends. The film takes creative liberties with the events, but it captures the raw emotion and determination of Zamperini and his fellow survivors.

Why is Unbroken Not Available on Netflix?
There are a few reasons why Unbroken is not available on Netflix. Firstly, the film’s rights are owned by The Orchard, a separate entity from Netflix. This means that Netflix does not have the rights to the film, which explains why it is not available on the platform.
Additionally, Unbroken’s availability on Netflix may be influenced by the streaming service’s content selection policies and licensing agreements with The Orchard. If Netflix were to add Unbroken to its catalog, it would likely require a license agreement with The Orchard, which might not be feasible or cost-effective.
