Adding a User to YouTube TV

YouTube TV is a live TV streaming service that allows users to watch various channels, including sports, news, and entertainment. Adding a user to YouTube TV is a relatively straightforward process, and in this article, we’ll guide you through the steps.
Why Add a User?
Adding a user to YouTube TV is a good idea if you:
- Want to share your channel with others
- Need to manage multiple profiles for different people
- Want to control access to certain content or features
- Want to track your viewership and analytics
Step 1: Sign In to Your YouTube TV Account
- Log in to your YouTube TV account using your email address and password.
- If you’re not logged in, click on the Sign In button in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Click on the Profile Picture
- Once logged in, click on the Profile Picture button in the top right corner of the screen.
- This will take you to your YouTube TV dashboard.
Step 3: Click on the "+" Button
- In the dashboard, click on the + button in the top right corner of the screen.
- This will open a new window with several options to add a user.
Step 4: Choose the User Type
- You have two options to add a user:
- Add User: This will create a new account for the user. You can use this to add a friend or family member who wants to access your channel.
- Add Channel: This will create a new channel for the user. You can use this to create a custom channel for a specific content creator or broadcaster.
Step 5: Fill Out the User Information
- If you choose to add a user, you’ll be prompted to fill out some basic information:
- First Name: Enter the user’s first name.
- Last Name: Enter the user’s last name.
- Email Address: Enter the user’s email address.
- Phone Number: Enter the user’s phone number (optional).
- Password: Enter a strong password for the user (recommended).
Step 6: Add Additional Information (Optional)
- If you want to add additional information to the user, such as a profile picture or bio, click on the Add Additional Information button.
- This will open a new window where you can upload a profile picture or add a bio.

Step 2: Click on the Profile Picture
- Once logged in, click on the Profile Picture button in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Click on the "+" Button
- In the dashboard, click on the + button in the top right corner of the screen.

- From the list of available channels, select the channel you want to add the user to.
- Click on the Add User button next to the channel.
Step 5: Fill Out User Information
- If you want to add additional information to the user, such as a profile picture or bio, click on the Add Additional Information button.
- This will open a new window where you can upload a profile picture or add a bio.
Step 6: Assign Access
- You can assign access to specific channels or content by selecting the channel or content from the Channel List.
- Click on the Channel or Content button to edit the user’s access settings.
