Does Apple TV Have CBS?
Introduction
For decades, the American broadcasting network, CBS, has been a staple of television programming. From classic sitcoms to live sports events, CBS has provided a wide range of entertainment options to audiences across the country. However, with the rise of digital streaming services, many viewers have begun to question whether CBS will ever make its content available through these platforms. In this article, we’ll explore whether Apple TV has CBS and what it would take for CBS to make its content available through the service.
What is Apple TV?
For those who may not be familiar, Apple TV is a streaming media player and service provided by Apple Inc. The service allows users to stream various types of media, including TV shows and movies, directly to their Apple devices, such as the iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. Apple TV is a separate service from Apple’s other streaming offerings, including Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade.
Does Apple TV Have CBS?
So, does Apple TV have CBS? The answer is yes, Apple TV has CBS. CBS has partnered with Apple TV to distribute its content through the platform. According to reports, CBS has launched an app on Apple TV, allowing users to stream its original series, such as NCIS and Bull, as well as classic shows like The Price is Right. However, not all CBS content is available on Apple TV.
Exclusive Content
One of the reasons Apple TV has CBS is because of the exclusive content it offers. Apple TV+ has been gaining popularity in recent years, with a growing library of original shows and movies. In addition, Apple TV has secured exclusive content with other networks, such as HBO and Netflix, through its partnership with Dentsu Aegis Network. These exclusive deals allow Apple TV to offer its users access to content that may not be available on other streaming services.
International Availability
Another reason Apple TV has CBS is its international availability. CBS has a strong international presence, with content broadcast in many countries around the world. Apple TV, being a global service, is able to provide its users with access to CBS content broadcast outside of the United States. This allows Apple TV to cater to a broader range of viewers, both domestic and international.
Content Availability on Other Platforms
While Apple TV has CBS, not all CBS content is available on Apple TV. Other platforms, such as HBO Max, Paramount+, and Peacock, offer a wider range of CBS content. Apple TV+ is still adding new shows and movies to its catalog, including Younger and This Close.
Conclusion
In conclusion, Apple TV does have CBS. The partnership between Apple TV and CBS allows users to stream a wide range of CBS content, including original series and classic shows. While not all CBS content is available on Apple TV, the service offers a unique opportunity for viewers to access CBS content that may not be available on other platforms. Whether or not Apple TV will continue to offer CBS content in the future remains to be seen, but for now, it is a viable option for viewers looking for a place to watch CBS.
