Is Motor Trend on YouTube TV?
Motor Trend is a popular automotive magazine that has been around since 1953. The magazine is known for its in-depth reviews, news, and features on the latest cars, trucks, and other vehicles. In 2019, Motor Trend launched a YouTube channel that features videos on automotive topics, including reviews, test drives, and interviews with industry experts.
Is Motor Trend on YouTube TV?
Unfortunately, Motor Trend is not currently available on YouTube TV. However, it’s not entirely surprising, given the limited selection of automotive channels on the platform. YouTube TV’s focus is on live TV channels, news, and sports, which may not align with Motor Trend’s content.
Why is Motor Trend not available on YouTube TV?
There are a few reasons why Motor Trend is not available on YouTube TV:
- Channel selection: YouTube TV’s channel selection is limited to live TV channels, news, and sports. Motor Trend is not a live TV channel, so it’s not eligible for the platform.
- Content type: Motor Trend’s content is primarily video-based, whereas YouTube TV’s content is primarily audio-based (with some video content). This makes it difficult for YouTube TV to accommodate Motor Trend’s video content.
- Licensing agreements: Motor Trend’s content is typically licensed to other platforms, such as its own website or other streaming services. YouTube TV may not have the necessary licensing agreements to carry Motor Trend’s content.
Alternative Options
If you’re looking for Motor Trend content, you may want to consider the following alternatives:
- Motor Trend YouTube Channel: As mentioned earlier, Motor Trend has a YouTube channel that features videos on automotive topics. You can find Motor Trend’s YouTube channel by searching for "Motor Trend" on the platform.

- Motor Trend App: Motor Trend has a mobile app that allows you to access its content on-the-go. You can download the Motor Trend app from the App Store or Google Play.
Conclusion
While Motor Trend is not currently available on YouTube TV, it’s not entirely surprising given the limited selection of automotive channels on the platform. If you’re looking for Motor Trend content, you may want to consider alternative options, such as its YouTube channel or website.
