Why is The Masked Singer Not on Hulu?
The Masked Singer, a popular singing competition series, has been a staple on various television networks for several seasons. However, one of the most puzzling questions surrounding the show is why it is not available on Hulu. In this article, we will delve into the reasons behind this decision and explore the possible explanations.
Why is The Masked Singer Not Available on Hulu?
- Licensing Agreement: One of the primary reasons The Masked Singer is not available on Hulu is due to a licensing agreement between the show’s producers and the streaming service. Hulu has a deal with NBCUniversal, which means they have exclusive rights to air the show. This agreement prevents Hulu from broadcasting the series on their platform.
- Production and Distribution: The Masked Singer is produced by NBCUniversal, and their distribution team handles the production and delivery of the show to various platforms. Hulu’s content strategy is focused on original content, and they may not have the necessary resources or expertise to handle the production and distribution of The Masked Singer.
- Target Audience: The Masked Singer is a prime-time show that airs on NBC, and Hulu’s target audience may not align with their content strategy. Hulu’s audience is primarily comprised of cord-cutters and streaming enthusiasts, who may not be interested in watching a singing competition series.
Alternative Streaming Options
While The Masked Singer is not available on Hulu, there are alternative streaming options available. Here are a few:
