Musings Of A Fellow Adventurer…Yellowstone Fall Rut

Greeting Fellow Photographers;

Photo by Laurie Excell (Byron Caine far left)

It gives me great delight to be able to pass on a few words and images from our recent experience in the Iconic Yellowstone National Park,with Laurie and a few others of like minded passion towards photography.Combine this with the privilege of being close to nature, and in true fashion…Yellowstone delivered!
Our journey began,basing ourselves out of the northwest corner in a town called Gardiner so as to enjoy the fall colours of the Lamar Valley.With roaming Bison reminding us of what was,the bright Poplars offered a wonderful backdrop to complete the image…

After a few days,we based ourselves out of West Yellowstone where the landscape component of this park rises a few rungs.  And this is why I signed up….for the Wapati Rut.  Here there were plenty of lens and body configurations that allowed me to court with my artistic side.  It was in this area that I witnessed why Laurie is liked.  Her photographic background and her unbiased approachability shone…

So in just a weeks time,I realized two things.  The first is that I need to spend more time in this park.  The second,I am unable to share with you; that being the image of having to experience the camaraderie of the others that shared this privilege of being close to the wildlife of Yellowstone Park.
