Happy Holidays

As 2008 draws to an end it’s a good time to reflect back on the triumphs and tribulations of the year and look forward to a new year with hope for peace and beauty in our lives.

Happy Holidays to one and all!

The Weather Oustide Is Frightful…

With the worst storm to hit Portland in the last 30 years we are all pretty much stuck wherever we are.  I was one of the fortunate ones.  I just made it home before everything began shutting down.  Portland has basically been paralized with bad weather for the last week.  This is the view I had out my window in Minneapolis…

With the snow still falling and roads closed all over town the best place to be is curled up with the latest issue of Photoshop User.

Almost There

While I was in Florida our incredibly artistic neighbor, Sonja, textured our bathroom walls and Frank painted.  Weather permitting (stay tuned for more on that), we will get the fixtures installed this week and our bathroom project will be complete.

It’s a Wrap

I spent last week in WARM Tampa filming three new videos for Kelby Training. Stay tuned for two new classes in my Buttons & Dials series on the New Nikon D90 and the D700.  But, wait, there’s more…I also filmed a tutorial on sensor cleaning and camera maintenance.

Speaking of wrap…if you’re looking for that last minute gift for that someone special, a subscription to Kelby Training is just the thing with the great selection of classes from world class instructors.
