Classic Vermont

The DLWS staff spent the day scouting locations for our event this week in Vermont.  We began our day with the famous Jenne Farm…

We then moved on to Weston home of Julie’s delicious fudge and cheese…and a really cool grist mill.

Along the way to our next location we stopped to photograph an old church but, it was the old barn side that caught my attention.

What’s a visit to Vermont without a church steeple peeking out from the fall color…

A final stop at Quechee Gorge.

All in all an amazing day.  We can’t wait to share it all with our DLWS group.

Be sure to log on to the rest of the DLWS staff blogs to follow the fun…Moose, Joe & Kevin!

Third Time’s A Charm!

We hosted our first DLWS Vermont in 2004 and the locals told us you need to be here two weeks later for the fall color.  So, in 2006 we came two weeks later and were told “You should have been here two weeks ago.”  So, this year we split the date and came right in the middle and guess what we found….Color!, Glorious color!

Vermont in the fall…there is a bite in the air, a sweet smell of the sugar shacks cooking up some delicious maple syrup and the fall color that Vermont is so famous for.

At one of our stops a curious cow with a crazy do came up to check us out.  So, I photographed him.  (OK, it’s a bull but that did not rhyme)
